The Merton Philanthropy Institute (MPI) is a social impact organization that was created to bring together the best ideas and research to help solve our major social and environmental challenges by leveraging large corporations and untapped philanthropy.

Based on Sean Davis's book, Solving The Giving Pledge Bottleneck (Palgrave MacMillan, 2022), MPI brings together academic, government, corporate, finance and other experts to further the institutionalization of philanthropic investments in order to reduce the philanthropy bottleneck. 

We provide unparalleled research and thought-leadership into how to solve some of the most pressing challenges at a local, national, and global level.
